[back to index]
ePriority has recently released a new feature for applying package generation and
delivery instructions. Clients can shape their scheduling, routing, and appearance
of messages by establishing a "Profile" for their account at ePriority. Batches
uploaded by the client would then target one of the established profiles and all
packages generated from the batch would acquire the settings defined by the profile.
With this feature comes a number of additional features clients have been waiting for:
Delivery Re-Attempt Configuration
Clients can now customize the number of retries they would like performed for
mailings, as well as the time to wait between retries.
Delivery Window Shaping
Clients can indicate a date to begin processing the batch (for delayed delivery)
and a target window in which a first attempt of all package deliveries should be
made. Complementing these instructions are options for delivery by time of day,
and a stop-date for time sensitive material.
Batch Summary Statistics
ePriority is now collection batch-level delivery statistics and will make this
information accessible from a consumer website planned for upcoming release. In the
meantime, our internal clients can share our development tools for accessing this
information for auditing/research purposes.
Batch/Package Reject Level
Clients can specify whether they wish our batch processor to skip packages that have
syntax problems -- or -- if the entire batch should be rejected when one of the packages
contains invalid instructions.
