Archival / Custom Retention Dates
All batches, logging data (proc, msg, trac), bounce email list, ID
map file, and mailbags containing a copy of all outbound email are
now saved in an archive. This data is accessable via FTP and the
client website. Retention dates are set within delivery profiles.
Archive Remailer
An Archive Mail Tool has been added to this release of ePriority. This tool will
allow users to perform several useful functions on individual packages of an
ePriority mailing. Users can view all the tracking information for an individual
message, view the raw source of the message online, or have the message
delivered to a list of user-specified email addresses as an attachment. These
functions can be useful in determining the life cycle of a message or checking
the correctness and format of a message in the batch.
The Archive Mail Tool is available from the left menu item "Batch Messages"
on the Batch Summary Report page. Users can identify a message from a batch by
specifying a PID (ePriority package Id), CPID (client package Id), or Email
Address and then selecting the Track, View, or Deliver option. The Track option
will display an ePriority status code and a timestamp for each status code that
the message has reached. The View option will display the raw email source online
for an individual message in the batch (sorry, but we currently we cannot
display the message online as a user would see it in their individual email
clients due to the differences in the various email clients that exist). The
Delivery option allows a user to specify one or more email addresses and have
an individual message from the batch delivered to those addresses as an
attachment.
Batch Job Queueing Enhancements
Batches are now picked up from the batch ftp directory and queued for
processing within minutes regardless of any current processing.
Also, the method for selecting batches to process has been changed to
prevent a single client from devouring all resources until their jobs
are complete.
Timezone fixes
Dates provided in website and automated email reporting are now set
according to each users timezone setting.
Laws and Legistlation Material
Now available from epriority.com is a compilation of laws regarding
email. Please feel free to send us other material for inclusion
using the feedback form on the website.
Ad hoc Mailer Bugs
Most of the problems with the ad hoc mailer
tool have been resolved. We will continue to bring this service up
to standard, but please let us know if you see problems.
