Web Help Content
An online help system has been added to the
ePriority website. Help is provided for
using features hosted on the ePriority website such as the Batch Mailer,
Profile Mgmt., Reporting, Account Mgmt., etc. In addition, general ePriority
features such as ePriority "feature" tags, tracking, and message
personalization are included. When a help link is clicked a new "pop-up"
browser window will be displayed. An index of help topics will be listed on
the left while the current help topic page will be displayed on the right.
Batch Mailer-Dynamic Content
The Batch Mailer application now has the ability to dynamically add as many
content parts as needed to compose a mailing. Previously, only 5 content parts
max could be defined for a batch using the Batch Mailer tool. Now, if a user
needs more than 5 content parts, then they can simply add more by pushing a button
on the "ePriority Batch Submission" page. A new content part will be
added each time the ">> More Content" button is pushed.
Zip Compressed Archives
Many of the larger archived files associated with a submitted batch are now
compressed to save storage space and to minimize download times. Zip compression
is used which is a platform independent format compatable with PK-Zip, WinZip,
and many other third party compression utilities. The batch file, all mail bag
files, and all track log files will always be compressed for a submitted batch,
all other files in a client archive directory will remain uncompressed.
Threaded Delivery Agent
The ePriority email delivery program has been implemented as a multi-threadded
application. This was done to increase performance and to reduce system
resouce usage on the ePriority servers.
Account Maintenance Log
All manual changes to client data (as a result of outage resolution or other
rare events) will be logged and viewable from the client reporting page.
